We make corporate video for Kansas City companies — recruiting films, culture pieces, executive interviews, internal comms, and the annual all-hands film nobody wants to be responsible for. Pricing starts at $2,000 and every number is published on this page, because you should not have to sit through a sales call to find out what something costs.
The corporate video problem is tone, not budget
Most companies that come to us have already made a corporate video. It is on the careers page. It opens on a drone shot of the building, cuts to a VP saying the word "innovative," and nobody inside the company has watched it twice.
The budget was not the problem. The problem is that somebody wrote a script, somebody approved the script, and then five people read the script out loud on camera. Scripts are how corporate video gets its particular sound — the one that makes a viewer stop believing anything they are about to hear.
Almost everything we shoot is interview-led instead. We ask questions, your people answer in their own words, and the film gets built out of what they actually said. It takes longer in the edit and it is the entire difference between a film people share and a film people skip.
What we make for companies
Recruiting and culture films
The highest-return corporate video there is, because the cost of a bad hire is enormous and the cost of an unfilled role is worse. A short, honest film about what it is actually like to work somewhere beats a careers page every time — but only if it is honest. If the film oversells, the new hire finds out in week two and you have bought yourself a resignation.
Executive and leadership interviews
A CEO, a founder or a department head talking about one thing, cut tight. These are the easiest films to make badly and the most useful when they land. We keep the questions narrow and the answers specific. Nobody needs a leader explaining the company's values in the abstract.
Internal communications
Benefits enrollment, a policy change, a reorg, a safety procedure, a new system rollout. Email gets skimmed. A three-minute film that explains the thing once, clearly, gets watched — and it scales to every shift and every location without you repeating yourself twelve times.
Training and onboarding
Film the process once instead of walking every new hire through it. Especially valuable if your training currently depends on one person who has been there fourteen years and is the only one who knows how anything works.
Product and capability films
What you make, how it works, why it is built the way it is. These are the films your sales team actually asks for, because they answer the questions that come up on every call.
What you get
- A crew of two — the same two, every shoot. No rotating freelancers who have never been in your building.
- We come to you, anywhere in the metro, at no travel charge.
- Licensed music, color, sound mix and captions.
- Cut for where it is going: a long version for the site, verticals for social and internal channels, and stills pulled from the shoot day.
- Unlimited revisions. We work until you are happy, not until the hours run out.
That last one matters more in corporate work than anywhere else, because corporate work has stakeholders. Legal has notes. HR has notes. The CMO has notes. On a two-revision contract that becomes a billing conversation. On ours it does not.
What it costs
These are the published prices. They are the same whether you call in January or in October.
- The Short — $2,000. A shoot of your space and your people, cut to music with text on top. No interviews, no script. Good for a company that needs to look current without committing to a production.
- Story Film — $4,500. A focused shoot at one location, interview-led, cut into a single polished film. This is where most recruiting films, culture pieces and executive interviews land.
- Brand Package — $10,000. Multiple scenes across a shoot: a hero film, social cutdowns, cinematic b-roll and brand photography. Enough material to carry a company through a year rather than a quarter.
If you are putting on a conference, an annual meeting or a keynote, that is a different job with different economics and it lives on our event video page. Full pricing is broken down on our video production cost page.
Companies we have worked with
We have produced work for Mazuma, QuikTrip and Wendy's. Different industries, same underlying problem: a lot of employees across a lot of locations, and a message that has to survive being passed down through three layers of management before it reaches the people it is for.
We are happy to walk you through what we made and what we would do differently for you. Ask on the call.
How it works
- A call. Thirty minutes. You tell us what the company needs and who needs to be on camera. We tell you which package fits and what it costs. No deck.
- A shot list. We send exactly what we plan to shoot and who we need for how long, so no executive blocks out a full day for a forty-minute interview.
- The shoot. Usually one day on site. We work around your operation instead of stopping it.
- The cut. First version back within a couple of weeks. Collect your stakeholders' notes in one pass and we revise until it is right.
Where we shoot
We film across the metro every week. Most of our corporate work happens in Overland Park, Olathe, Lenexa and downtown Kansas City, which is where most of the metro's corporate offices and headquarters sit. We also shoot regularly in Lee's Summit and the Northland.
There is no travel charge inside the metro.
How much does a corporate video cost in Kansas City?
Ours start at $2,000 for a short piece with no interviews and run to $10,000 for a full brand package. Most recruiting films and executive interviews are the $4,500 Story Film. Those are published prices, not starting points for a negotiation.
Do you write a script?
Usually not. Almost everything we shoot is interview-led — we ask questions, your people answer in their own words, and we build the film from what they actually said. Scripted corporate video is where the stiff, unbelievable tone comes from.
How long does the shoot take?
One day on site covers most projects. An executive interview needs about forty-five minutes of that person's time, not a whole afternoon, and we send the shot list in advance so nobody over-blocks their calendar.
Can you work with our legal and HR review?
Yes, and we expect it. Revisions are unlimited, so a round of legal notes does not turn into a change order. Collect everyone's notes in one pass and send them together — that is the fastest path to a final cut.
Do you film at multiple locations or facilities?
Yes. One location in one day is the baseline; more locations means either a longer day or a second shoot day. Tell us the addresses early and we will route the day rather than charge you for the driving.
Who actually shows up on the day?
The same two people every time. You will not get a different crew on the second shoot than you had on the first.
