Every price we charge is on this page. Packages start at $2,000 and top out at $16,000, and the number you read here is the number on the invoice. If you are trying to put a line item in a budget before you talk to anybody, you can do that in about four minutes.

Why almost nobody will quote you a price

Call five video companies in Kansas City and you will get five versions of the same answer: it depends, let's set up a discovery call, tell us about your goals. Some of that is fair. A one-day interview shoot and a three-city brand campaign genuinely are not the same job.

But most of it is not about complexity. It is about anchoring. If a producer can find out what you spent last year, or what you have budgeted, or how badly you need this done before a conference, the quote can be built around that instead of around the work. That is why the price is behind a call.

We publish ours because it is faster for everyone. You either have $2,000 or you do not. If you do not, we would rather you find that out now than after two meetings.

Our prices, all of them

Single-film packages

  • The Short - $2,000. One shoot day, no interviews, no script. We film your space and your people and cut it to music with text on top. This is the entry point, and it is real work, not a loss leader.
  • Story Film - $4,500. One location, interview-led, cut into a single polished film. This is where most testimonials, founder stories and recruiting pieces land. If you are not sure which package you want, it is probably this one.
  • Event Recap - $7,000. A full shoot day at your event, cut into a recap film.
  • Brand Package - $10,000. Multiple scenes across a shoot day: a hero film, social cutdowns, cinematic b-roll and brand photography. Enough material to carry a company through a year instead of a quarter.

Event and conference packages

These are for companies putting on a real event - a conference, a keynote, an annual meeting. They live on our event video page with more detail.

  • Keynote Coverage - $5,000. Single camera on the stage, up to eight sessions, each cut individually. Additional cameras are $750 each. Slide sync is $250 per session.
  • Recap Film - $8,500. A full shoot day across the event, cut into one film in two to three days.
  • Testimonial Montage - $3,000. Attendee reactions and takeaways cut into a montage. Individual cut-downs are $250 each.
  • Full Package - $16,000. Everything above, with two cameras on the keynote.

What actually changes the number

Four things, in rough order of how much they matter.

Whether anyone talks on camera

This is the biggest single fork. A film with no interviews is a shoot and an edit. A film with interviews is a shoot, an edit, and a transcript you have to build a story out of - which is most of the work and all of the difference. It is the gap between $2,000 and $4,500.

How many places we have to be

One location in one day is the baseline. Three locations is either a longer day or a second day, and a second day is a second crew fee. If your sites are spread across the metro, tell us early and we will route the day instead of charging you for the driving.

How many finished cuts you need

One film is one film. One film plus six verticals plus a fifteen-second pre-roll is four separate edits sharing one shoot. That is what the Brand Package covers, and it is almost always cheaper than coming back later for the cutdowns.

Cameras

Most of what we do needs one or two. Live events sometimes need more, and each additional camera on a keynote is $750 because it is another body and another edit timeline to sync.

What is included at every price

  • A crew of two, and the same two every time. No rotating freelancers.
  • Travel anywhere inside the Kansas City metro, at no charge.
  • Licensed music, color grading, sound mix and captions.
  • Unlimited revisions. We work until you are happy, not until the hours run out.

That last one is the part people ask about twice. Most contracts in this business give you two rounds and then bill hourly. Ours does not, because the version you sign off on is the only version that matters.

What is not included

Honesty is cheaper than a surprise line item.

  • Paid actors and talent. We shoot real people. If you want cast talent, that is a real cost and we will get you a quote.
  • Location fees. If we shoot somewhere that charges for access, that is passed through at cost.
  • Travel outside the metro. Inside the metro is free. Springfield is not the metro.
  • Paid media. We make the film. We do not run your ads.

How to get a real number without a meeting

Read the list above and pick the one that sounds like your project. If you are between two, pick the cheaper one and tell us on the call - we will say if we think you need the other, and we will say it before you have paid for anything.

If nothing on the list fits, tell us what you have budgeted and we will tell you plainly whether we can do something good for that. Sometimes the answer is no. That is a faster no than three weeks of proposals.

Where we work

We film across the metro every week: Kansas City, Overland Park, Olathe, Lenexa, Lee's Summit and the Northland. No travel charge inside the metro.

$2,000–$16,000

How much does a video cost in Kansas City?

Ours run from $2,000 for a short piece with no interviews to $10,000 for a full brand package, and up to $16,000 for full conference coverage. Most single-film projects land at $4,500. Those are published prices, not starting points.

Why do other video companies not publish prices?

Partly because projects genuinely vary, and partly because a quote built after they know your budget can be a bigger quote. We would rather lose the jobs we are too expensive for early.

What is the cheapest real video you can make?

$2,000. That is a full shoot day of your space and your people cut to music with text. We do not go below it, because below it we would be cutting the crew or the edit time and you would see it.

Do you charge for travel in the Kansas City metro?

No. Anywhere in the metro is included - Johnson County, Wyandotte, the Northland, the eastern suburbs. Outside the metro we quote it.

Is there a payment schedule?

Half to book the shoot date, half on delivery. No retainer, no minimum term.

How many revisions do I get?

As many as you need. Revisions are unlimited on every package, and that is in writing rather than in a sales conversation.
