Where events happen in Olathe
Olathe's event calendar runs on three engines: Garmin's headquarters campus, the health and education institutions around it, and a county seat's worth of civic and association meetings. The Embassy Suites Olathe conference center handles most of the hotel-based conferences, and K-State's Olathe campus hosts the research and industry days.
We film here often enough that the Embassy Suites ballroom lighting is not a surprise. Olathe is squarely inside our metro coverage zone, so a keynote at the conference center prices exactly like one downtown, with no travel line on the quote.
- Embassy Suites Olathe Conference Center — the largest hotel conference footprint in the city
- K-State Olathe — research showcases, industry days and food-science events
- Garmin campus — product launches, internal summits and recruiting films
- MidAmerica Nazarene University — commencements, galas and donor events
- Olathe Community Center and Black Bob Park — civic and nonprofit events
- Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop — the outdoor and heritage venue for a different kind of company party
What we film in Olathe
Conferences and industry days
Keynote coverage with a clean AV feed, session edits for your library, and a recap that sells next year.
Product launches and internal summits
The reveal, the demo and the reactions, cut for the people in the room and the customers who were not.
Nonprofit galas and fundraisers
The program, the paddle raise and the honoree stories. We film the testimonials the same night so the year-end appeal already has its video.
Recruiting and culture events
Career fairs, open houses and team days turned into a film that does the recruiting for you afterward.
How the day runs
Send us the run of show: session times, speaker names, where the stage is. We call your venue and your AV vendor before the day to sort out stage access, power and a line-level audio feed, because clean keynote audio is the difference between a film and a recording. On the day it is the same two people every time, Josh and Brandon, one on the stage and one roaming, with a lit interview corner set up in the pre-function space so we can pull speakers and attendees between sessions without anyone missing a session.
Vertical cut-downs can go out the same day if you book them. The recap film and the individual session edits arrive within about two weeks, with unlimited revisions, so a round of notes from the sponsor or the CEO is not a change order.
What it costs
The Event Recap on the standard menu below is $7,000: a full day of coverage cut into one recap. Conferences and multi-speaker days use the lineup from our event video page instead. Keynote Coverage is $5,000 for a full day on the stage with one camera, up to eight sessions cut individually with clean board audio; each additional camera is $750 and slide sync is $250 per session. The Testimonial Montage is $3,000, with individual cut-downs at $250 each. The Recap Film is $8,500, highlights-style coverage of the stage, the room and the hallways with a two-to-three-day edit and licensed music included. The Full Package is $16,000 and puts two-camera Keynote Coverage, the Recap Film and the Testimonial Montage on one event, $1,250 off booking them separately. Olathe is inside our standard Kansas City metro coverage, so there is no travel line on any of these, and hotels and event planners can book the same packages at the same prices and add us to a client's event order.
Who we have worked with
We have produced event work for Commodity Classic, Village Capital, NAYDO's Philanthropy Live, IBM Think, the Digital Wrap Conference and MOCSA, alongside the corporate, nonprofit and brand films on the rest of this site. Everything is shot, directed, cut, colored and mixed by our own crew; nothing is subcontracted and nothing in our portfolio came from somebody else's shoot.

Common Questions
Everything you might want to know before we hit record.
Is Olathe inside your coverage area?
Yes. Olathe is part of our standard Kansas City metro zone. Same prices as downtown, no travel fee.
Can you cover a multi-day conference at the Embassy Suites?
Yes. Multi-day is where the Full Package makes the most sense: two cameras on the keynote, a recap film and a testimonial montage from the same crew, with per-day verticals if you want them.
Do you work with our AV company?
Always. We call them before the event, take a line-level feed from the board for the stage audio and agree on camera positions so nobody blocks a sightline.
How far ahead should we book?
Spring and fall conference season fills first, so two to three months ahead is comfortable for a full-package booking. Shorter windows happen all the time; ask about your date either way.
Who owns the footage?
You do. Every deliverable is yours to use anywhere, and we hand over the raw footage on request at no extra charge.
