Detail

Event videography at Kansas City Convention Center and Bartle Hall, priced up front. Keynotes, recap films and attendee testimonials from a two-person crew that knows how the room works, stays out of the way and delivers in days. Packages start at $3,000 and every number is published on this page.

The room

Bartle Hall is the big room. Nearly 400,000 square feet of column-free exhibit space under the Sky Stations, a Grand Ballroom that seats a general session in the thousands, dozens of breakout rooms across the Convention Center and Municipal Auditorium next door, and a calendar of national conferences and trade shows that fills the downtown loop all year. When your organization books it, the film has to match the scale of the room.

That means a plan, not a camera. Keynotes run through the house AV vendor, so we take a line-level feed from their board and lock a camera on the stage. The exhibit hall lives under mixed overhead lighting, so we bring fast lenses and a roaming operator who knows how to make a show floor look alive. Breakouts scatter across two buildings, so the run of show decides where the second body goes and when.

How we work Bartle Hall

  • Load-in and credentials — We advance with your show manager and the venue's event services for dock access, badges and where cameras are allowed on the floor.
  • Audio — A clean feed from the house board for every stage session; a wireless lav for the interview corner in the pre-function space.
  • Lighting — Ballroom keynotes are lit for the room, not the camera. Fast cinema lenses and a second position on the stage wash keep skin tones honest.
  • The floor — Sponsor booths, demos and attendee traffic are a moving-crew job. We shoot the floor in passes timed to the schedule so every sponsor gets covered.
  • Hotels — Loews, the Marriott Downtown and the convention hotels connect by skywalk, so a reception across the street is the same booking, not a second one.

What we film at Bartle Hall

General sessions and keynotes

Single or multi-camera coverage with clean board audio, each session cut individually for your content library.

Trade show floor and sponsor deliverables

Per-sponsor cut-downs that renew next year's booth sales, plus a floor reel for the organizer.

Recap film

The stage, the hall, the hallways and the moments in between, cut into the film that sells next year's registration.

Attendee testimonials

A lit interview corner between sessions. Reactions and takeaways cut into a montage and individual clips.

How the day runs

Send us the run of show: session times, speaker names, where the stage is. We call the venue and your AV vendor before the day to sort out access, power and a line-level audio feed, because clean stage audio is the difference between a film and a recording. On the day it is the same two people every time, Josh and Brandon, one on the stage and one roaming, with a lit interview corner set up where the venue allows so we can pull speakers and attendees between sessions without anyone missing a session. Vertical cut-downs can go out the same day if you book them; session edits and the recap film land within about two weeks, with unlimited revisions.

What it costs

The Event Recap on the standard menu below is $7,000: a full day of coverage cut into one recap. Conferences and multi-speaker days use the lineup from our event video page instead. Keynote Coverage is $5,000 for a full day on the stage with one camera, up to eight sessions cut individually with clean board audio; each additional camera is $750 and slide sync is $250 per session. The Testimonial Montage is $3,000, with individual cut-downs at $250 each. The Recap Film is $8,500, highlights-style coverage of the stage, the room and the hallways with a two-to-three-day edit and licensed music included. The Full Package is $16,000 and puts two-camera Keynote Coverage, the Recap Film and the Testimonial Montage on one event, $1,250 off booking them separately. Bartle Hall is inside our standard Kansas City metro coverage, so there is no travel line on any of these, and the venue's sales team or your planner can book the same packages at the same prices and add us to a client's event order.

Who we have worked with

We have produced event work for Commodity Classic, Village Capital, NAYDO's Philanthropy Live, IBM Think, the Digital Wrap Conference and MOCSA, alongside the corporate, nonprofit and brand films on the rest of this site. Everything is shot, directed, cut, colored and mixed by our own crew; nothing is subcontracted and nothing in our portfolio came from somebody else's shoot.

Not sure the event lands here? Our Kansas City event videographer page covers the other venues in the area, and the event video page has the full menu.

FAQ

Common Questions

Asked and answered.

Everything you might want to know before we hit record.

Do you need credentials to film at Bartle Hall?

Yes, and we sort that out with your show manager in advance. Convention Center events need badges and a camera plan agreed with the venue and the AV vendor; we handle that call.

Can you cover sessions in two rooms at once?

Yes. A second camera is $750 on Keynote Coverage, or we schedule the crew across rooms from the run of show. Multi-day conferences usually book the Full Package.

Can you deliver something the same day for the closing session?

Yes. A same-day highlight or vertical cut can screen at the closing general session or go out on social while attendees are still in the building, if you book it ahead.

Who owns the footage?

You do. Every deliverable is yours to use anywhere, and we hand over the raw footage on request at no extra charge.
