How Much Event Video Costs in Kansas City

What each package actually is

Keynote Coverage, $5,000

A full day on the keynote stage with one camera and clean audio from the house board. Up to eight sessions, each cut, color-graded and delivered individually with a title card. Every additional camera is $750, which is what turns a single-camera session into one that can cut between the speaker and the slides or the room. Slide sync is $250 per session and locks the deck to the speaker in the edit.

Testimonial Montage, $3,000

A lit interview corner in the pre-function space. We pull attendees, speakers and sponsors between sessions, ask three good questions and cut the answers into one montage. Individual cut-downs are $250 each, which is how a montage becomes a year of social posts and a sponsor deck.

Recap Film, $8,500

Highlights-style coverage of the stage, the room, the hallways and the moments in between, edited into one recap film with licensed music in a two-to-three-day edit. It goes to attendees after the event and sells next year's registration. The Event Recap on our standard menu is the single-day, general-purpose version at $7,000; the Recap Film is the conference edition.

Full Package, $16,000

Two-camera Keynote Coverage, the Recap Film and the Testimonial Montage on one event. One shoot day, three deliverables, $1,250 off booking them separately. Most conferences book this, and the estimator applies it automatically when you select the three pieces.

What is not on the menu, and what it costs

Multi-day events, more than one stage, and live streams are priced as one number after we see the run of show. The estimator will multiply a single-day package by two or three days to give you a ceiling, but the real quote for a multi-day conference is usually lower than that, because the setup, the crew and the interview corner are already in the building. Same-day vertical cut-downs, drone coverage (we hold an FAA Part 107 certificate) and event photography are add-ons we price on the call.

Why the prices are published

Because you should not have to sit through a sales call to find out what a conference film costs, and because a published price is a price we have to stand behind. Every deliverable comes with unlimited revisions, the same two-person crew, Josh and Brandon, on every event, and delivery within about two weeks with same-day options available. Hotels and event planners can book the same packages at the same prices and add KC Video Club to a client's event order.

Every city in the Kansas City metro on both sides of the state line, plus Lawrence, with no travel line.
